Everything that is outdoors and not hunting or shooting. Talk about fishing, 4wd, archery, camping, motorbike riding etc etc.

NSW Total Fire Bans 6/9/19

Post by Rabbitz »

It's only September but my good mate Shane (NSW Rural Fire Commissioner) has declared areas of extreme fire danger and a bunch of total fire bans:

Be careful out there.

Down here in TAS we are also expecting a horror season - we dont usually see TFB until the end of October, but south of us is crispy and dry, and I'm expecting it in the next couple of weeks.

We are burning off all of our tree waste now, and advising others to do the same.

I know you will, but take care - there are unusual conditions everywhere and things can escalate very quickly.

Yep - small piles, low intensity. Its pretty wet here, we register the burns with TFS and let Shaun's crew chief know too (they're across the valley).
