The young fella got this nice brown trout this morning.. Just on 4lb in the old scale... Caught on a tassie devil lure Image

Thanks guys ..hes one happy fella ...As for eating he’s not sure (got it on ice) ..if he should smoke it or bake it

Roll in seasoned flour and pan fry in a dob of butter, 2 minutes on each side, you wont eat better :D

Wot Camel sed - except, if you can get it, use some fermented butter (French style butter) and a bit more than "a dob". Heat the butter until it starts to slightly foam then nap (baste with the butter/pan juices using a spoon) the fish while cooking.
