Winchester 9422 extraction issue

My bolt action 22 fails to extract after about 100 rounds cause the waxy lube off the lead pills builds up and the cases stick. And then I clean it.

Do you use lead pills with waxy coating?

All my .22 Martini's have done the same over the years.

At one time I knocked up a short cleaning rod with a nylon bristle brush that I would clean out the chamber with when the cases started getting sticky. I would keep it on the shooting mat next to my spotting scope - a couple of quick twists in the chamber and back to shooting.

I use a lot of the SK ammo which tends to be very waxy. While it does build up in the rifle it doesn’t impact the extractor, even with 200+ rounds in a session.
