I won’t be doing a Trev in front of the Telly.
I’m going the classic .22 Hornet throwing 45gn TSX. Perfect fallow medicine with minimal damage.

Nothing really wrong with the Zastava's - they shoot well (the 2 I have do anyway) the trigger on the cenerfires is easy to adjust to a very crisp let off.

I do have a love of the old Hornet, but I want tobuild a K-Hornet, have dies, cases and pills all sitting here for the "right" donor.

PM or sms some details mate, but am still happy to wait for a while after buying the new camper and the Tikka.

Will pay to get the Zasty hornet checked for headspace, the barrels are pinned or maybe a friction fit and some the barrel isnt quite seated back to the front action ring, was reading about a fella on AHN who had that problem, don't know what his out come was. I did think of doing a 17HH on one of those actions, but have had second thoughts about it after reading that. Don't know if its possible to thread the chamber and then screw in the barrel.

Should be fine but will check. Another mate has one and it’s fine. Not sure what happened with Wiz’s gun on AHN. He must have been unlucky.

Yeah, maybe it was a friday after lunch made gun, guess every manufacturer has their problems every now and then. Can't thing of any other problems with Zastavas except for those stainless actions that were privately imported with the offset mount screw holes. Like Russian tractors, they might not be pretty, but they work and take some rough handling.

It looks pretty good actually on the small action.
Mine came without sights and with a dove tail instead of the usual open sights and screw holes.
