Number 4 from the stock guru

This is the fourth stock I’ve had made by our very own stock guru Ned Kelly of JAG Precision rifles stocks.

It started out as a very cheap but heavy Vardy blank.

Pics are with the first coat of Organ Oil’s Hard Burnishing Oil soaking in. I’ve just finished rubbing it down with some 1200 grit w+d and am letting the slurry harden.

I like the grain on that. A bit of a cross hatch pattern.
