How is the belt speed?

Hi Gary the belt speed should be around 2950 surface feet per minute that I calculated on the motor speed of 2825 rpm and the drive wheel diameter of 4”

looks good, I have a few knife blanks I got 6 years ago for my retirement, been retired 5 years and have not done a thing better built a belt sander just like yours I think.
