Would 300wsm action fit into a .308 sa stock

Hi all, just having a bit of trouble finding info on the net. Ive got a stock for a Remington 700 .308sa and was wanting to know if a Remington 700 300wsm would drop straight in?

Should do mate, I think its only internally that they are different, but as I have never played with one I guess I cant claim expertise. Know anyone with one to try ??

I don't think so. Ask Kickinback, he would know. I have a 300 wsm but its a Winchester so cant measure for you

Action will fit, but barrel inlet will need to be relieved - the 308 is a standard sporter and the 300WSM is a magnum sporter.

I know a stiller Tac 30 SA (rem clone) mag boltface will fit. As Jason has said, some relieving of the barrel channel will be needed.
