Wanting a New stock for Steyr pro hunter 223

Post by InspiredTim »

I bought a Steyr pro hunter a couple of weeks back and I want to change the stock to a nice timber one. Does anyone know if I can purchase one from a website or have one made for a reasonable price?

Tim,

There was a guy advertising semi finished stocks on here a few weeks ago, maybe he can help.

Ned Kelly on here might be able to help you out, does very nice work and is not scared to have a go at different ideas.

Ned does bespoke high quality work including one off projects that bulk producers find unprofitable to set up tooling and patterns for. I'm awaiting my third stock and for what he does I think the price is very reasonable but it's not a cheap option to have a one off stock made

Just be aware you will have to source a trigger guard as well mate if you want to re-stock it- the factory Steyr prohunter stocks have an integral moulded unit that is part of the whole stock.
