Tikka T3 triggers, Sako 75/85 triggers and Browning A Bolt triggers
I have started modifying TikkaT3, Sako 75/85 and Browning A Bolt triggers, making them sear adjustable. The mod is completely reversible and unlike a few who mod these triggers, the safety works as designed whether in original condition or with the mod in place.
The trigger is adjustable down to 10oz/270g with complete safe function of the rifle (drop tested from 12" and will not slam fire)
On a send your trigger to me, I will fit the mod, set and test the the trigger, then mail it back to you basis.
$85 including return registered post.

Re: Tikka T3 triggers
G'Day all,
I come from an engineering aviation career spanning 28 years of building, overhauling, servicing and operating jet aircraft.
When Kicken came up to check out some stocks I make, I used my Lyman's digital trigger pull gauge to measure the trigger pull weight. I tested 3 times using pounds/ounces and Kg/gms.
I did a minimum of 3 readings for imperial and metric and they were very, very consistent readings. The metric did not vary more than 10grams.
Now my gauge has never been tested for accuracy, but after using a Jewel trigger in competition since 1996. I'm reasonably confident that this modification is well worth it if you are looking at an after market trigger for your T3, especially for target/varmint use.
The fact that the original parts are not modified and extra parts are added is a plus.
Please make up your own mind and no I'm not getting any kick backs. I've dry fired it, the safety works and the readings are very consistent.
Well worth it, considering it is a reversible modification if you are not happy with it.
Food for thought.

Hi Glen, don't bother bringing ammo to the missedathon as you will be too busy modding tikka triggers for the rest of us.

Actually Trev, I don't. If the trigger is a recent one with the 2 holes behind the trigger it's a drop in job.

The trigger mod is also suitable for Sako Quads

A 270gram trigger is probably not required on a 35Whelen I'm guessing? Damn I wish I had a T3 Varmint gun.
Cheers...

Tikka T3 triggers
Gents. To be perfectly clear so there is no bullshit or misunderstandings.
When this mod is done, it adjusts sear engagement, minimising trigger creep giving you a very crisp trigger WITH the factory trigger spring. If we wind IN the spring tension screw that is located at the front of the trigger you can INCREASE trigger pull weight by a few pounds and still have a creep free trigger.
Hope this clarifies things.
Regards
Glen

I'd had the idea for quite a while Ryan. It wasn't until I bought my mill that I could make it viable. Having to use a machine at work isn't always possible and causes delays. Nobody wants to be without their gear for longer than necessary.
Cheers

Re: Tikka T3 triggers

Wouldn't mind doing the same for a Browning and Howa. A lot more involved tho.stinkitup wrote:
