Brass collection display

Post by B4408 »

I have had a few bits of brass I had collected and also a few people on this forum have given me brass. So I thought I had better do something with them and put them on show.
Made up a frame with a glass hinged front and four special shelves to arrange the brass on. Used a bit of rosewood for the frame, bit of glass from an old picture frame and a few things to hold the brass in place but so I can move them around. The brass won't fall over when I bump it.

Turned out OK.Image thankyou to those who gave me brass, still plenty of space for more.

Stinkitup, that would be great. Have a 17-222rimmed with a split neck I picked up at a hut where we use to camp so the 222 will be good.
Pm on its way.

Nice, looks good.

Throw up a list of what you have (or want) and collectively you may get a few additions?

Bruce I notice you dont have any of the wildcats that I have, 17/222, 20/222, 250 Myra, 25 Camel, 338/06, also have 7mm08, you interested in them, want projectiles seated, you will have to label them as most dont have the correct headstamp. ?? :?

Board looks nice mate, but then thats to be expected with you making it. Should be able to fill that one and another couple with all the different wildcats that blokes on here run. :D

They would be good Camel. Don't seat any projectiles but a 338 and 7mm would be handy to have.

Just thinking on this one Bruce, seeing as Aust Post dont want us to post empty cases, I had better put a projectile in them so I dont upset them.
