Hi Mate,

I just went down this path myself. There's a good thread at viewtopic.php?f=4&t=22440&hilit=ultrasonic&start=30

I'm using an ultrasonic cleaner bought from eBay (<$30) and the cream of tartar solution. There's a bit of info on it here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14214&p=195410&hilit=tartar#p195410

Birchwood-Casey liquid case cleaner, cheap, does a good job, a bottle of concentrate will last you a long time, but its not as sexy to use these days as it is to spend a shit load on the latest whiz bang gadgetry that is supposed to do it all for you. :D

here's an old thread for you.

I still do it this way with the same ebay special ultrasonic given to me by Ogre6br.

If it ever gives up I will be using a wet tumbler with stainless pins and drying in a dehydrator.

I dry my cases with a hair dryer.

You will have to come over some time. Mark is calling in to do some loading this weekend

I saw one when I dropped in to see Seddo. Nice easy way to dry brass.

Ultrasonic works and works well but don't get yourself focused on that without checking out wet tumbling.

i dry tumble with corncob media.
then i give the cases a rub with a piece of soft cloth.
very pretty.
i gotta get the steel pins to clean inside the cases or go down the ultrasonic path.
since ive got a tumbler,it'll probably be the pins.

I've had some of that, mixed up years ago, stored in a dark glass 2.5L bottle. It still works just fine!

I generally make up a new batch after four or five usages, I have run out, so it is on my Must Get list, but I keep forgetting the bloody stuff.

Sean I've only ever heard of the pins being used in a wet tumbler. Happy to be educated though
