15.5gr HMR ammo surprise

With a shooting trip planned over the break I have been into my LGS looking for HMR ammo. Sadly the 2.5 boxes of federal TNT hmr rounds that my gun likes will be all I can get for a while according to him. I know the gun hates any 17gr vmax round and there are no 20gr XTP's either so Im shit outta luck. In a moment of weakness I grabbed a box of 15.5 NTX to see if they will shoot. Wasnt holding any real hope but was pleasantly surprised with 1/2" groups at 75 yards. I figure its accurate enough for brain shots on foxes and rabbits so will give it a run. Surely 1.5gr isnt going to make too much difference on a brain shot on a fox or cat- or a body shot on a rabbit either. Lucky theres a few hundred in the shop I can take as a backup if I run out of TNT's.
