Ha! While we were going through it all last night i got up him for bringing out his 223 stuff- i said no way jose, you've had access to all this now for ages, my turn!

He was able to get the primer bits set up in the press which is great.

Gonna be watching more videos i think!

If you buy one of those cheap lee case trimmer thingos it should come with a case holder that chucks in your drill. I used to spin the cases holding one of those green scourers on it. You don't want carbon on the neck scoring your dies or chamber, then use the neck brush for inside the neck and the primer pocket cleaner does the pocket of course.
Do it in batches, like run them all with the scourer, then do all the batch with the neck brush, then do all the pockets. Not as effective as ultrasonic (check out wet tumbling aswell) but it works and gets you started.

Expensive way to do it if all you are going to use is the 223 pilot and you still need to buy one for the 250.
The Lee cutter and lock stud is about $12.50 and the pilot/length gauge around $11.00 each.

Couldn't find imperial resizing wax anywhere. There was a tub of hornady one shot wax, but the guy said it was pretty crap and better to stick to the roller pad

I have only ever used a piece of folded up denim soaked with light oil (I spray with the Rem oil in a pressure can) - roll the empty case across the denim, run you fingers around the case while you place into the shellholder to make sure good coverage.

I probably should get off my backside and get some imperial wax.

I used that RCBS stuff for years till I found imperial sizing wax, the RCBS is pretty good ans you shouldnt run into any troubles, just roll 5 cases at a time over the pad, size them then do another 5. :D

I use the spray on Hornady One shot and find it works very well. Quick, easy no left over greasiness. I do them, as some have said, in batchs of 4-5. Also handy to spray in the die before you start. Just remember to give them a wipe out with a soft cloth before you put the dies away.
Someone at the LGS, won't say who or where, suggested I try "Inox". Said a lot of the "guys" just use that as the One Shot is fairly expensive.
Let's just say, I won't be using that again.
After two hours of a lot of effective swearing, I managed to get the case out of the die. Marvellous thing utube!!
You'll find everything you need to know on there.
Cheers

You think that's bad. I literally have an "Imperial Tiles" and "Metric Tiles" outlet with 5 minutes of each other.... 6 inches of one, 150mm of the other....
