Interested in what you build. I’ve read they are a good thing for the price

G'day Trev I hope all is well your way at the moment , the rifle that is going in the chassis is my son's Howa 223 the chassis alone seems comfortable to shoulder I am seriously thinking of getting one from Cleavers seems pretty good value for $550 but I would have to sell my B&C m40 stock 1st ......

Cheers TAC

You have to shorten the bolt stop by 3 or 4 mm so the bolt will pick up a cartridge out of the mag small problem I know .

it won't affect a medium sized case and the barrel does not sit centre in the barrel channel major machining required to fix that one.

and I'm not the only one there are others on forums complaining of exactly the same problem .

Mine turned up today and the barrel in centered in the channel. :D I'm thinking i might have to buy another chassis and attack it with the chop saw and tig welder..... might be another project coming.
