sightron STac 6x20 versus S111 6x24

Post by trevort »

Anyone have both or have experience with both. The S111 has 20 moa more adjustment and a little bit more magnification but what else do you get for more than double the money?

I know happy Stac users and thinking I dont need the nightforce NXS as much as I thought I did

Actually i have had 3x S111`s Trevort

2 x Mildot
1x MOA2

I would still have the MOA but the Old mate that bought the 20 BR wanted it and money talks

S-Tacs are good scopes for the money but the S111 is a step up.

Andrew Mick and Mark have StAcs and they dial in with a ballistics app and take a sighter into the dirt and they are on the gong. thats all I'm after. I like owning nice things. I wanted an nxs but will have to wait 6 months or risk the wrath of Kerriet. I would tske the chance on the S111 but I would have very little resistance on an stac.

What am I gonna have to listen to grief about that makes the S111 worth it.

Please help

The Stac may have good repeatability in its adjustments but the couple I have looked through were like looking through light fog. My S2 Big Sky was clearer.
Have a look before you buy.
Look for a used S3 if $ are tight.

Whats wrong with the NF NSX?

You have it on your 20 Dasher varmint gun?

Your 6BRA is your target gun correct? It has a NF BR scope on it?

I have two NF Brs Glenn. Only thing wrong with the NSX is the price and the fact that I have 12 rifles and don't use them enough so trying to avoid forking out so much

Importers have the 4-20 FFP zero stop mil hash reticle listed but none here yet.
At the prices they are showing should be able to match what you quoted.
