I used the search function

Post by trevort »

sorry to start a new thread but if most of you blokes are like me in your reading habits then after you see where a thread is going well you stop going back to look

so I have got onto the Meopro option in my last scope thread and I believe Missed's experience and trust his judgement,

When you hit Meopro into the search function you find there are quite a few Meopro owners on here

SO can some of you owners chime in on how you found them under the light and hopefully Missed got a dud.

Or then I could go on a tangent about Minox

I had a couple of them on review, I found them to be ok scopes but nothing special. Definitely not worth their hype IMHO.

I've got two now and find them quite good. Ones a 4-12x50 and the other a 3.5-10x44.
To compare them I have a Z3 4-12x50 and a VX3 3.5-10x50.
From memory MISSED had one with 'squishy' turret adjustments and his wasn't that crash hot under the light.
I think his was the 6-18x50.
My two under lights are every bit as good as the VX3 and Z3.
In daylight its hard to notice much difference and similar with night time.
Admittedly they're not quite as refined but for the price difference I'm not complaining.
If you can wait and ask nice all 4 guns and scopes may make the trip to Yass later this year (2 will be for sure) but I'm guessing you want to do something sooner than that.

'Off' Andrew 'Off'.
Spell check is your friend.

In saying that if you did throw it I'm guessing it may survive being its quite agricultural in it's construction.
It's already survived the 340 Weatherby with loads at Mach 1.
Trev I'll bring the meopro 4-12x50 and the Z3 4-12x50 and you can compare both side by side. :)

Well I called uncle Andrew and he convinced me the Sightron was the way to go. And I asked Kerriet if she minded and she said "why are you even asking"

SKU Product Item price Quantity Total
SI-10109 Sightron 4.5-14x50 SII Series Riflescope #101099 Duplex $485.00 1 $485.00
Subtotal: $485.00

On its way

I seem to be spending a few dollars at Magnum sports these days

Trev, I am starting to feel a very strong fondness for Kerriet. Sounds like she is my kind of girl. You gotta bring her to the Missathon, we all want to see one of these rare species that don't mind blokes spending up on rifles and scopes. :D

Camel search on YouTube for "crazy hot matrix" and pay attention to the unicorn bit. But she does follow the rules as the speaker lays them put. She can pop up anywhere from time to time.

Spell check and predictive text are the problem, yes they can be your friend but also your enemy

It's a great vid to watch. Better with a couple of mates and beer when the wife isn't watching as we can all relate to it
