I was thinking of you at the end of the Ausbigvarmint trip. I folded my popup tent first go. AND NO ONE WAS WATCHING. no witnesses. Funny how struggling with it attracts a crowd :roll:

It's not exactly what we were discussing but it was a good deal... and who said all rifle purchases need to be sensible? :wink:

The scope won't stay on it for long.

As for putting a brake on the 308, I'd be doubling the weight of the barrel. Marlin barrels are rather thin.
