Another one finished today
This one is some real nice San Mai Damascus with some nice Samba antler scales and brass pins. There's a chap I know that will just love this. I always like to see plenty of the original antler with the great grip it gives

Number three for today a Short Skinner

This one is made from RWL34 a great steel that really holds an edge
Put some real nice Ringed Gidyea scales on this one with a mosaic pin & brass pins
A short skinner, I think these are a great handy sized knife to use.

They are all wow knives Ted. I got told off for throwing my hairy oak handled knives in the the sink to wash. Too late, already made the wood look a bit tired. What oils should
I rub on them?

Thanks Trevor . True Oil, Organ Oil or just a good quality wood polish will keep them looking good. :D

Made this pair for a good bloke off AHN. Hoping he will be happy with them when I finally finish them as found a few spots that need more sanding and have to do that yet. Then sharpen and fit to sheaths One is 14c28n a Mitchell boner with Gidyea the other is a Damascus San Mai, stainless over high carbon with naturally Ringed Gidyea again, both have Mosaic pins and lanyard holes. Two beautiful pieces of timber
Little bit of rough video first and some photos

The Mitchell boner is your best pattern by far in my humble opinion.

Thanks mate, I really like that shape too and have made quite a few of them now and I will be making quite a few more as all the hunting mates and their friends seem to want one of those. :D

Made these two oyster knives for a good bloke. One I made from 14c28n stainless and the other I made from an old stainless knife blade I had. It's a bit rough but should do the job. I am sending them to him as a gift. Adding to the amount of knives I have given away these two will make 107

I was speaking to Gary a while ago and he wanted a nice knife with buffalo horn scales to be able to give to a mate as a Christmas present. He asked me if I would make one and offered to pay. Like hell. I made this one for him and will send it up as a gift as he has got a fair bit of buff horn for me and were good mates. This one will be Knife number 105 as giveaways. Two more ready to be sent to another bloke as a surprise and then five more secret ones for another really good person and he is actually giving four of them away. So that will end up bringing my tally to 112 he he. Hoping to get to 200 before I die.
This one is 14c28n Buffalo horn scales and aluminium pins and lanyard. Hopefully it will get used cutting up a buffalo anyway, and will do the job sticking a few boars.
