Cleavers and Machetes don’t count Trev. There, you have room for 3 more knives. Image

It’s a big butcher knife, not a machete. The two machetes live under my bed. You never know when the thick undergrowth may beak in and block your way to the safe

Is the Opinel knife the one with the corkscrew?

Because that is a "waiter's friend" and not a knife, so it wouldn't count either :)

No corkscrew. Just a knife.
They only cost 6 pounds in Ireland so I came home with the next size up after visiting mum. She gave it to Mark cos I have too many

As a woman,
Kitchen knives dont count. Nor do mushrooming knives, pocket knives, nor cleavers.
Plenty of room for more 😉

I agree with Morgan, chuck out the folders, also anything under 3 inches isn't really in the knife class, more along the lines of toe nail scrapers. :D

I mean what Frenchman would be caught without the ability to uncork some wine and slice some cheese?
