What size rim on a socom? 308 or 223
I doubt you won't be taking it "seriously"

The case has a rebated 308 bolt face size.
It would just be something to play with sometimes out in the bush, not a super serious thing. Since the gun will be switch barrel set up and I have a suitable barrel and projectiles sitting here, well why not.

Jack, not sure on case availability or price yet, can anyone help there? I know the local gunsmith who has the reamer has built them before so I will find out from him what he knows.

Looks like Starline make brass and available from Brownells Australia, $176/100.
Don't go losing to many.

It's cheaper than that to import them, not by a lot though.
