WD40 with PTFE. it's a dry lube, available from Bunnings.

Some people don't believe in washing and lubing their pellets, that's fine, do whatever your happy with.

I wash the pellets first in a plastic sieve and a little detergent, I then rinse and dry thoroughly. Once dry, I put the pellets into a plastic zip lock bag and spray then lightly with the lube, tumbling gently to coat all pellets.

The bag can then be used again for the next batch.

You'll be surprised how much swarf is in a tin of pellets, you don't want that going into the action.

I'm not saying it improves accuracy, but hey, where's the harm in it.

Barrel cleaning, a patch with some WD40 on it, dampened, not soaked, pull through is fishing line, pulled through a few times once accuracy drops off, which isn't very often.

Hope this helps.

I use Ballistol oil on everything.wook metal lube my pellets with it. Glean my barrel.
Good for the orings.
Have been using it for about 7 years now. Great product that a lot of people don't know about.
Big in the U.K. And USA.

Ahhh, but WD40 with PTFE has a duplex reticle on the tin, you can't top that.

It'll do everything too.

I don't use it to clean the barrel, just plain old WD40 for that, and only dampen the patch with it.

The above is what I just shot at 60 yds with straight out of the box 16 trainers at 60yds
I then tried the washed and lubed pellets firing 2 lubed pellets then ,1 x 5shot group and my son the other he used the 50 yd hold over bar hence why it's low both shot at 60 yds

The jury is still out but it's the two best 60 yd groups it's ever shot

Good groups Mark. It's one of those thinks to have to try. Can be good can be bad and can have no change. I don't see any improvement in my barrels but still lube the pellets so the barrel has a bit of protection.

Gav like I say the jury is still out and I totally agree it may make a difference it may not , will do some more testing actually I was thinking of spraying the lube in the pellet tin as well

If I was on the jury it's a no brainer.

If you have the elevation in the scope use it.

I'd be proud of those 60 yard groups myself.

It shoots like a BSA.
