These demonstrations are unique.
They interactively lead you through many of the basic concepts that underpin our game.
The way sights work, parallax, cant, and inner workings. Field Target basics.
Pellet trajectory and flight dynamics, nutation and precession.
Trajectory paths and how they relate to line of sight.
Shooting up and down and why you must generally aim lower.
The inner workings of spring powered guns and why you may shoot high with heavy slow pellets - up to a point.
Calculating hold over/under/ drop / clicks etc.
And much more. There are 21 demos.
These were made available through Steve Woodward's considerable maths and physics understandings; and Perry Babin's incredible computer programming skills and understandings of the concepts involved. It has been around for 12 or so years now and answers many of the questions that new shooters ask and others sometimes struggle to explain to them.
If you haven't already, then check it out.
Open and scroll down; perhaps click on # 17 and have a fiddle. It's always been free. Perhaps book mark for future reference to refer to newbies as the occasion arises. I don't think it works well on tablets and androids.

You can expand to full page by clicking "CLICK HERE" at the bottom of each demo. Have fun with the interactive stuff. Let me know how you like it and I'll pass it back to Steve. ( He has some electronic monitoring gadget on a NASA space probe out there past Mars some place too).
Regards, Harry.

I still have a look at those from time to time. I've never booked marked them. Always went back to the link on the Yellow Forum.
When are you going to be in Brisbane ? We will be up that way most of July.
