Musings

Post by MISSED »

I have been thinking that the 20 cals in my cupboard really do not cover the whole spectrum

I mean I have the 20 Br coming for the heavies (50gr) the 20 PPC for the mediums(40gtr) and the 20VT for the lights(32gr).But I do not have a cartridge to shoot the 35`s sooo I was thinking a 204 ruger run into 222 rem length and I was going to call it wait for it drum roll please The Jabb20.

I like your dedication to the 20cal.......but as a practical person who shoots for meat, I have found that the critter does not care what the weight of the projectile is or the name of the calibre. Shoot what you have and enjoy it.
Sorry if it sounds harsh.

Sounds something like a 20 vt turbo. Keep some of the neck length.

Thanks Humpy :D

Bill I do have a rather nice 17 Mach 1V that does get to poke small holes in things.

Trevort you did not say recently to pick your projie and build a case around it or something to that affect.

I had a reamer for the 20 VT turbo but really did not like the short neck.

If you have a bex and a lay down the wildcat affliction MAY pass.
Or you could always ring the gunsmith, order the stuff and there's no getting out of it
Then you will have to start thinking about the next must have.

I like the satern funnels. I have one for each calibre I own except my 300 wsm.
Last time I ordered one I ordered a 6.5 too.
I don't have a 6.5.

Is owning the right powder funnel a good reason to build a gun?

I had a rifle rebarrel because I got some cheap components, still gave shot it but when I do I'll be able to load a few hundred of them. It's a 35 whelen.
