Finally arrived

This rocked up at my gunsmiths this arvo.

Just to be sure I opened it up.

Then I got it out.

Took some more photos.

Than mopped up the drool from the floor (no photo required).
To say I'm stoked would be an understatement, however it is still waiting for a Nightforce SHV 4-14x56 (in Sydney), some Talley rings (made and sent from USA yesterday) and set of dies (somewhere between QLD and Canberra) before it will be complete. In addition, optimal powder (ADI 2218) has been ordered from Winchester Australia however the order has been sitting at 'processing' status now for 6 weeks.
As much as I had planned to have everything all line up at the right time, it hasn't turned out that way.
I guess all things come to those who wait.

Was a bit of a bummer. Will check on powder again today but all isn't lost if it's a while away, turns out a mate has a few tubs of ADI 2218 (he uses it in his snipetac's) so I can grab one off him if needed.

As much as I don't share your attraction to Roy's finest I do enjoy your enthusiasm and passion. Hope your bits arrive soon and it all works out for you just the way you expected

Looking forward to seeing some long range dead things

What are the shares in Thales worth at the moment Rob ?

I can see their profit margins continuing to rise as your fetish grows :D

I look forward to having a close look at that apparatus.

No idea Andrew but could be a worthwhile investment.

Just as well you are balancing the ledger with the .250 Myra Mark.

I had a Win 32-20 (1892 made in 1913) put aside for me in the LGS on the weekend.

This makes it seem a little inadequate .......

... but I'll get over it! :D

Nice rifle!
