Followed me home last night
What can I say, in the shit weather last night I couldn't leave it homeless, so it now has a home in the safe.
Browning X-bolt Predator, 22-250 medium weight barrel with 1/9 twist.
4 shot rotary magazine.
Will be wearing a Meopro 6-18x50 once I get the Talley Rings from the PO at lunch.
Still considering putting an AI reamer through it once I confirm it shoots as a standard 22-250 although I need to track down some AI cases to make sure they will feed in the magazine.
Best not put it down in the grass during summer.
Obligatory box pic (minds out of gutters please)
So many toys, not enough time to play with them all.
Rob

Don't mind the look of those Brownings, not a fan of that particular colour scheme, but from what I have read they seem to shoot pretty well. I know a couple of blokes who run 22-250AI, they are very impressed with 40gn Vmax projectiles V foxes. The Vmax usually wins out.

I've had a few 250's. Figured I'd spice it up a little with this one.
In saying that until I know they will feed in the rotary mag it is a moot point.

Re: Followed me home last night
Scope is on.
First problem encountered when trying to adjust trigger weight down.
Some bright spark at the factory filled the Allen head with red loctite. Managed to get most out but still not enough to gain sufficient purchase to adjust without running risk of fucking the head.

Hair dryer won't release it?
Nice rifle, be a nice rig to run the 40gr pills in with extra revs for splatting bunnies and still give versatility to use 65gr hunting bullets on sturdier critters. Not my choice of colour either! Hope she shoots

Re: Followed me home last night
Its more practical than tactical Trev. Of course it's not going to be for everyone. At the end of the day of it does the job and kills what it's pointed at that's all that counts.trevort wrote:yeah no one likes it. Rob is releasing his inner tactardBrad Y wrote:. Not my choice of colour either!
