Pardon my ignorance but just enquiring if anyone on the forum has one , or knows anything about them. Reason for asking is that I have 1 Sako 222 & although I'm nor real sure why I have it just seems a shame to have to put it on "used guns". Should a 17 PPC compliment an AH 17 , Rem 17 or furball 17 perhaps I should investigate further.
Any comments would be appreciated.

you will either have to open the bolt face or turn down the case rims to use ppc cases

I have one but haven't shot it yet. I got as far as trying to form a couple of cases and crushed the necks. I need to get some more bushings before I try it again.

Baz,
Not soure if the 17 PPC will fill the bill on your needs as far as the 222 is concerned coat it in some good oil, rust preventive put it in one of your safes and in 12 months take it out and see if it cost you anything to keep it there.
Cheers
