a) a cheap shot at Marcus
b) a cheap shot at me
c) a cheap shot at Marcus and I (hope the correct grammar is appreciated  ) WRONG

Marcus and I went for a stroll

Camel had a cheap shot at Marcus and me

take Marcus out of the sentence and it has to still make sense

"camel had a cheap shot at I"

d) a strong admiration for my hat

Cheers,
Waldo

Put a few shots thru the little CZ this morning, just off the bonnet of the ute on bipod after a bit of an unfruitful hunt.

The little rifle shoots pretty well, I'll stick some pics up off my phone later. Unfortunately I didn't have a 10cent piece to shoot at so you'll have to use your imagination in regards to group size

Had 3 different amo on hand, Western 36g, Winnie PP 40g and RWS 40g, all hollow points.

Put a couple of the Western thru first to foul the barrel a bit. Just got the remnants of a bulk 500 pack to finish off.

Was judt on paper at 50m so came back to 25m for the first 3 x Western put together this. Gotta admit I was pretty impressed.

Played with some RWS for this:

Some Winnie PP too:Image
I'll have a play at a range with a good rest and see what it does but looking good.
Cheers

That's impressive Waldo

Imagine how good the group would have been if you had used a Sportco

Yeh, the first shots of anything new are always a bit tentative but those first 3 at 25m was a relief to see them come out so good.

The RWS & PP were all at 50m and pretty consistent but I reckon of a decent bench and rest it'll tighten up a tad more and a few more shots down the tube can't hurt.

That'll do for now, I have booked a SF just to the North for the week between xmas and New Year when the youngster will be home and he'll be keen to head out with the .22's in search of a bunny (saw 2 this morning by the way) 8)

One thing that I do with my 22lr rifles, is after a clean I will just shoot 10 or 15 shots to foul the bore a bit, then worry about trying to shoot a group for testing. :D

I do much the same as Camel said , but I'm not sure now what I'm going to do with my poor little rifle cause someone has noticed a bad rust on the barrel. Hoping it won't affect the accuracy. :(

That was why I used the Western 36g loads up first, remnants of an old box so was just using em to get on paper. First couple of shots landed just barely on paper above the top right hand target and I was aiming for the left top
