Are those sportco's similar to a Lithgow mod 12?

The Sportco 66s/d are the same actions as a Winchester 320 and were designed by Jack Warne and manufactured in the early 70`s.The Sportco 66 is marked Sportco Omark where the Winchester 320 is Marked Winchester made by Omark.I am not familiar with the Lithgow model 12 so cannot say Ryan.

Missed, do you have any similar knowledge to share on the Sportco Model 40 or perhaps the Model 80 bolt shotty?

Similar to the Lithgow 12 in that it s Australian made and a nice little gun. I have both and the Lithgow 12 is far superior. The 12 is from an earlier era and overall engineering and quality is better. The 12 will lack dovetails unless it has been molested already. Lithgow barrels are legendary but there is nothing wrong with sportcos. The 66 feels a little small to me and there is a little more weight in the 12 that gives it a grown up feeling. The 12 has a better and adjustable trigger. I like both guns but if I had to choose it would be Lithgow 12 every time. However throw the 63 sportco into the mix and it is a different story. I have only 1 model 66 but about 10 model 12's.

Cheers
Deano
