Upload Pictures Directly From The Forum

Post by kjd »

I have installed a new feature on the forums to allow users to upload pictures directly from their hard drives onto the forums.

This is a simple and easy way of doing it.

Picture sizes cannot be any bigger the 640x480 pixels. Any bigger then that and it wont be uploaded. I suggest you use an editor to resize the image if you wish to post it on here.

Here is how you do it When you go to type a reply or a new topic:

1)As seen in the above photo click "upload picture" (circled in red)
2) A pop up window will come up click "Browse"
3) Select the picture file you wish to upload to the forum and click "OK"
4) Click "Send" (in the right hand bottom corner) This may take a while
5) A preview of your picture will be displayed down the bottom there is some writing that says "Insert Picture" next to that it says "Standard" Click is and it will be inserted into your post. Then just type your message and hit Submit.

It cannot get any easier then this.

I would love everyone to use photobucket. But I have purposely made it so you can only have your pictures so big(640x480) and people struggle with the links and things. this way its all done for you if you follow those 5 simple instructions.
