Hope you mob have a good time of it, bugger not being able to get there, but I spose there is next time, as well as the trip to Sussex Inlet that a mate and I have been planning for around 12 months now.

Yep except as I said before, we are still in Tassie.
Makes for a longer wetter drive if the Spirit isn't leaving when we want to.

Does make it a bit more difficult :lol:

Caught number 2 for me but a bit small, waiting to see how Mitch and daisy have gone on the stretch they are fishing. Daisy had a bite first cast but didn't hook up

Daisy lost his fish as he went to lift it out of the water :lol:
Still better than last year

Total for yesterday ended up
220: 5
55: 2
110: 1
Daisy: 0.5, we will give him half, he did hook it and got it out of the water just not onto land.
Plenty of bites and a few lost fish, 3 keepers out of the 8 landed.
Had to duck back to the shop for a few hours this morning, daisy had a rod in his hands when I left just after 7.

Poor people - just fish & chips for tea , mullet ,calamari , few prawns . No bloody trout , or cod , at all. Washed it down with a few Tooheys , new , coupla nips of rum & oh , almost forgot found a bottle of Wild Turkey . It's not wild anymore , but gees there's a few headaches around this morning.

A couple of mugs of Crouchen Riesling followed by a couple of not so Wild Turkeys topped
of a beautiful day
