Sinclairs

Post by malcolm »

Guys, just read where Brownells bought out Sinclairs
I have dealt with Sinclairs but never Brownells.
Hope the service doesn't go off.

I dealt with Brownells years back before the law toughened up; great then and a 'smith up here reckons they're still the same.
They are a HUGE operation, and used to pride themselves on their quick turnaround of orders, and that hasn't changed either.

Just had 2 shipments of still sadly neglected reloading gear delivered

.

Same service as in the past. See if you can co-ordinate a joint purchase/s as the shipping cots can easily exceed cost of items purchased. And am not talking about cost of shipping a cast iron singe stage or Dillon type of press.

Recent dealings (well, when the $ was healthier) with Sinclair have been forgetable.

For small orders I think things are fine, but when we've tried putting the last 2 orders together for a group of us it's been a PITA with inventory being in stock one minute than out of stock the next.

Must be said though that their customer service is sharp and they've remedied the stuff ups they've made on both those orders very promptly.
