New safe requirements
Safes must now have steel walls 1.6mm.
Nothing else can be stored in them

1.6mm is tissue paper, our reg's have always been minimum 2mm

All seems a bit moot now that battery operated tools are everywhere. An angle grinder will be through almost anything in no time.
A gun safe is meant to limit access not to be impervious.
