Re: Ted’s knife thread
As Trev said I would also love to see a bit more of your process. I still remember reading your grinder build project over on AHN (well I think that was you) and also reading the article in SSAA ? mag on making knives. Probably part of what made me realise that you don't need all this fancy bits of ...

Re: First Knife from scratch
Finally got this one finished, first knife that i have drawn from scratch. All other knifes i had traced a knife or downloaded a template and then tweaked the design. This one the only limitation was the size of a piece of scrap I had and the idea of a bird and trout or small game style knife. Knife...

Re: Happy Birthday Bimbo
Thanks lads was a reasonably quite day which is just the way I like it. Got a great book called Knife and some flash new coffee cups, both of which I've had the chance to test drive this afternoon and decided that I'm going to spend some time in the shed this weekend playing with knives so I sketche...

20cal Pellet availability
A few months back i acquired a Marksman 72 air gun (made by Weihrauch) in 20cal. It came with 4 half full tins of various beeman pellets and initial testing sees it shooting reasonably well but it looks like none of these are readily available and I am on the hunt for pellets that are currently avai...

Re: First Knife from scratch
I've been working away in the shed of late getting a few projects finished. I did this little paring knife as part of a group on faceache where the plan is each month anyone who wants draws up a design and then we vote on which one we all want to make and then everyone makes their version of that kn...

Anyone know anything about these, cannot find much about them specifically on the google? There is a 20cal one advertised locally on abused guns and wondering if its work going and having a look at.

Love the sound of it but whats the advantage over the 222 mag? From memory the 204 was longer body with less taper and shorter neck?

Few more pictures from along the way This was getting set up for the resin handle pour - I figure if I am going to pour 1 block I may as well do 4  although the resin I use has a 7 min work time so it gets pretty hectic if trying to mix up and pour more than 2 or 3 colours. https://img.photobuc...
