I feel that 100 would be bare minimum. 150 would be safe. More so if conditions are similar.
I shot 54 in 600 including a few practice shots the day before, and 63 at 1000, including a few on the practice day before. That was for light gun.
Cheers,
Trevor.

Re: 2018 1000yd BR SCC and 600yd BR
Just did the conversion on Richard's 1000yd. group agg. 7.369". That is one mighty effort in those conditions with a 6X47 Lapua. Who needs a big calibre? just learn to read wind,(mini cyclone). A job very well done Richard. You can stay away next year.

Re: .303-25 power recommendation
I had one in the late 50,s 1950's that is. Necked down .303 service ammo, removed 4sticks of cordite and sat a.25 cal. pill on top. Cannot remember what weight,to long ago. No idea what speed, but crows were just a soggy mass of feathers. Rifle was a sporterised Lee Enfield.

Re: Something I find a little odd.........
The .284W is a typical one to compare A.D.I. load manual loads to what is being used in B/A. actions in the field. Book says 51.5C of 2209 behind 175 gr. pills as maximum. Myself and others 52.0 -52.4 and it is not compressed behind the 175 M/K's is safe but getting up there. 51.2 behind 180's is st...

Hi Dave,
All looks good. How far between containers? You mentioned north Townsville residents how about NORTH of Townsville resident.
No matter I will only be shooting 1 class in each.

Trevor.

Hi Jack,
If you both have a good rum before bed you will both sleep better.
As yet no problems with tune. It is fitted with the Purdy Tune system. It works for me.

Trevor.

Hi Jack,
Using the Lapua 123gr. Scenars in the 6.5 x 47. The J.L.K's are 140 gr and get used in the 6.5 Rogue for "F" Class.
How is the new little one going?
Cheers,
Trevor.
