Re: Seriously? Ban on Butane Burners
Mr Smalls was kind enough to pop one of these in my stocking for Xmas last year, he's used the thing more than I have (read: I HAVEN'T used it yet) and now they're a supposed liability? Sod off. I LIKE my itty bitty camping stove. Use it properly and you wont have any issues! Bloody hell. Nope.. I ...

Re: Life-Camera-Action-Garmin-VIRB
Ahh I don't think so mate. The current Go Pro does 1080P 60FPS and 4k at 30fps let's not even get into low light and sensor quality. It's all well and good to say hey this does 1080p and it's as good but not all 1080p cameras are the same and resolution isn't the only factor when it comes to buying ...

Re: Hatchet Restoration.
Nice job Keith! Looks good! Oil on the handle makes a big difference! Glenn Thanks mate, it isn't as shiney after a few coats and now that it has dried. It was a silly little project as the hatchet was a cheapie but now I'll be happy to do this to a better brand.. Next on the list is to hang a new ...

Haha nah still not going to grow the beard and wear flannos haha.
Nah I just think axes are cool and whilst I'm a bum I've got time to do this crap lol.
I'd love to build a log cabin but I suck at woodwork!

Hatchet Restoration.
I just restored this little cheap hatchet I found in the shed. It's sharp but not razor sharp, that'd take too much time on the file.
Anyway I think it turned out well!

Re: Very Disappointing
Sux, but I've always had a vx1 3-9x40 and never had any issues despite the parallax being set at 100yds. Can't you have a normal Leupy's parallax set at 50yds by the Leupy custom shop?

Hell you can't argue that a chainsaw isn't better it is, I have a small forest axe and I just love it around camp. To be honest I don't use the, that much for real work I just love the craftsmanship of good quality ones..

Re: An old Axe video but it's tops!
Great videos, used axes, adzes and when a boy the crosscut saw, never had a broad axe. Most people today have no idea what there for or how to use them.Had a neighbor ask for a loan of an axe last year, after some discreet inquiries,it turned out he wanted to chop some turf out of his lawn.Fortunately I...

Not sure if this one has been posted before, but it's one I've had saved to my favourites for a while and like to watch from time to time when I feel like being amazed whilst being made to feel completely untalented and emasculated at the same time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcoTnER4Efg&in...
