Re: Looking to get a Red Dot scope
I've got a Shield sight mounted on a pistol slide and it does a good job. https://www.shieldpsd.com/ I have a shotgun with a C-More sight on it and that is good too. http://cmore.com/ It just depends on what style you are after. I also have 1 or 2 old tasco pro points and they are good too. worth a ...

Re: oryx chassis
Mine turned up today and the barrel in centered in the channel. I'm thinking i might have to buy another chassis and attack it with the chop saw and tig welder..... might be another project coming.

Re: Howa Mini Action
Yep 8 twist, that's the reason i bought the 223. I can shoot it in hunter class in F Class if i want to but that isn't the reason for the purchase.

Howa Mini Action
We after a long time thinking about it i finally bought a Howa mini action. I wanted a Grendel but i couldn't find any with a heavy barrel so i walked out of th egunshop with a Stainless 223. I hated the stock so when looking on cleavers for a oryx chassis and pic rail and it turns out that for $500...

Re: One for Sedo and others!!
Yeah I've seen that Helfire vid on FB Glenn and figured you would have an insight to this new beast. Seddo, how light a pill and what sort of BC would you be talking? I’ve got 5000fps out of a 17ppc with a 20gr. If you scale up the ppc case to a cheytac sized case with a similar sized projie I’m su...

Re: One for Sedo and others!!
That's funny. The bullets ability to hit a target at that distance has bugger all to do with velocity.
I also don't see how you can shoot anything out of a chaytac sized case at that velocity unless its a very light pill and that means low BC so it doesn't make sence.

Re: 6mm ARC
Just a different spin on a 6mm Grendel. Hornady has the ability to get velocities in factory ammo that cant be replicated, a few of my brothers mates have tried to match the velocity of the superformance ammo and cant get within 100-2100fps of it. I tried to match the old 223 TAP ammo in a rem 700 i...
