Re: Cleavers - Ruger American 350 Legend
Its another cartridge developed for the AR15 platform that wont take off on a bolt gun. The 300 Blackout is the only AR15 platform new calibre that has taken off in a bolt gun that I can think of. Re: 6mm build, what cal?
Seddo while i may agree with Rod on the man bun thing regarding the 6.5 Creedmoor, the 6 mil version has to be my pick and would be if i didn't have so much 6x47 Lap stuff. Not overbore, heaps of grunt and i know you will do it most likely using AI type mags, the OAL is well within the magazines di...

6mm build, what cal?
So I have a 14 twist 6mm barrel sitting on the shelf and it keeps looking at me funny. I've spent some time today thinking of the options and formed up a few dummies with a 75gr V-Max, if they don't stabilise I'll go with 65's or 58's. From left to right... 6mm-06AI 6mm-284win 243AI 6mm Creedmoor 6m...

Re: What new builds have you dreamt up during these idle times?
I’ve been reading about the same thing this morning. Started at 22 Creed then progressed to 22 BR, then thought straight 6br because I have a Maddco 6mm 1:14 twist blank siting here. Thought I don’t need another 6br, maybe 6/284 and burn the barrel as quick as possible. Now back at 22 creed because...

Re: Another chassis has been replaced....
I know this will simply further expose my ignorance, but what is the difference between a stock and a chassis? A chassis is almost always alloy and has a built in dbm where a traditional stock can be timber and f/glass. You cam day all chassis are stocks bit not all stocks are chassis Sent from my ...

Re: Another chassis has been replaced....
what chassis? all I can see is a red barrel I cant complain about the chassis, I shot the smallest group with it at the fly nationals a few years ago using a bipod and rear bag. A made did the cerakote and he asked what colour, in my stupidity I said anything except black and that's what turned up....
