My latest purchase
Hi all, I decided to jump into a new rifle.late last year. Oceania Precision SP25, I couldn't find a new one so had to take a second-hand 308. I'm getting creedmoor barrels fitted next week, 6.5 and 22 because I sit down to piss as they say. They are built in NSW and are finished well but the 4lb tr...

Re: T3 Mag set up for 80gn projies - pls help
I started with the v groove and moved to the square when I cut them on rhe mill, the groove was done with a dreamil. I have used these mags in PRS matches without any issues. I'm using a Stiller DBM but have also used them in AICS stocks. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210113/a8ecd5ce9d49a36ab99...

I still have it somewhere. The issue with a 223 in the full length 308 mag meant they liked to nose dive. They also hel...

Re: T3 Mag set up for 80gn projies - pls help
Geoff, I use accurate mag's. They have a plastic 2 piece insert in them. All i do is put a small chamfer so i get more slightly more clearance for the 80gr amaz at 2.5" OAL. https://www.deltatactical.com.au/buy-rifle-magazines-australia/aics-compatible-c54/accurate-mag-223rem-magazine---10rnd-p...

Re: 45/70 for Varmints....
Just remember to keep the Blackwidow pill lower then 2000fps or you could get lots of leading. Don't know if you can put a gas check on them or not. Isnt the idea of powder coated pills - so that you can punch them out a bit faster? Noting that I will probably only be "aiming for" 1800 (i...
