Re: Just thinking out loud
Trev I believe defiance or one of those customs makes actions more designed for a chassis for the prs shooters. If they make a long action then uncle Robert you go .
Actually any remington long action footprint action would have a chassis to suit I would imagine??

Re: Barrel Tuners (not rimfire)

Re: Barrel Tuners (not rimfire)
Thanks for putting the findings up Tony. Do you add a large bearing plate at the action end eg just larger than tube and then similar at muzzle with a nut over on end? Wanted to do this with my swede ai...oh well next time around maybe [emoji16]

Re: 260 rem
If going for 140s you pretty much need a medium to long action anyway. Might find a tikka in 6.5x55 cheaper brass..more go easy to reload for whats not to love?

Re: Tumbling/ Keyholing.
Before chasing crown etc I recomend checking twist. I first got my 222rimmed and tried 50gr vmax's thought they would be perfect!! They went through target side on!! To test I cut the plastic tip off and almost went through straight lol. Tipped 40's are okay and shoot well, hp and sp 50's okay but j...

I have chairgun on the app on my android and on my pc (win10) with some fiddling I used it to make turret label etc for nationals a few years back as I could only test to 20m before hand. The r9 should fit right in Andrew. Loved mine! Might even have some 20s left over. I'll have a rummage this week while finding cases for others.

Re: First Purchase
Andrew mine you handled at Canberra a year or so ago at nationals is a 97k...but not thumbhole and not tuned as nice as this one sounds like it is. Sounds like a very nice rig.
