I started doing it on the 5.6x57 and will do the 17 Rem cases next time as I am getting a few splits there. I use a similar setup to Camel :D

To be honest the .204 is only a more modern version of a .17Rem :shock: The previous whiz bang point and shoot super fox rifle (and the .17 is a lot more skin friendly, not that it matters any more). :poke: I thought about trading my .17Rem on a No. 1 varmint in 204 until my son told me not to be so...

This has got me a bit inspired to grab the 30/30 though, got a state forest to the North that shows promise but never delivered I might take it there to tempt fate :shock:

Can't help with the new fangled powder but have 34g of the 2208 behind the Woody 150g FN pill (COAL straight from the Lee data with the dies).

The B&T's are a pretty good pill the 165's shoot real nice thru my 30/06 :D

.... and found some interesting results. Next was Sako A1 .222 with 24" barrel, 22.0gn BM1 and 40gn v-max. Results were 3108, 3023, 3023, 3018, 3113 fps. Nice and consistent but a bit lower than I was expecting. I was hoping for up around 3300. The highest charge I have loaded to previously is...
