Re: Anyone Here Anneal
I started doing it on the 5.6x57 and will do the 17 Rem cases next time as I am getting a few splits there. I use a similar setup to Camel

Re: A couple of thoughts on the 204 Ruger after a couple of years.
To be honest the .204 is only a more modern version of a .17Rem  The previous whiz bang point and shoot super fox rifle (and the .17 is a lot more skin friendly, not that it matters any more). :poke: I thought about trading my .17Rem on a No. 1 varmint in 204 until my son told me not to be so...

Re: LeveReveloution powder
I think it will also be my choice for the next outing. I challenge you Sir - to a 30-30 off. We kill and the AusVarmint reprobates decide the win. Rules: 1. Must be a deer. 2. Photo proof required. 3. Bonus points for Artistic appeal. 4. Sledging and corruption encouraged. 5. End date of 31 May 201...

Re: LeveReveloution powder
Hahaha how about you do all the development and get it sorted then I'll take the lazy route
This has got me a bit inspired to grab the 30/30 though, got a state forest to the North that shows promise but never delivered I might take it there to tempt fate

Re: Woodleigh projectiles
Mmmm seems like a real good price and is the pill I have for the 30/30, pity it is not a rifle I grab very often  My young fella is the only one of us to have actually poked holes in something with a heart beat with it, perhaps I should remedy that situation? I'll see how many pills I have in ...

Re: Borrowed a chrony....
.... and found some interesting results. Next was Sako A1 .222 with 24" barrel, 22.0gn BM1 and 40gn v-max. Results were 3108, 3023, 3023, 3018, 3113 fps. Nice and consistent but a bit lower than I was expecting. I was hoping for up around 3300. The highest charge I have loaded to previously is...
