Krico 22wmr
As an 18th birthday gift to his eldest son one of my best mates recently bought a second hand Krico .22wmr. It came with a Weaver 4x, but I think that has now been replaced with a 6x Pecar. It seems to be a beautifully built rifle. The magazine is very solidly built and quite heavy. It would be good...

Introducing another young fella to reloading
I've taken another young fella under my wing (another son of a friend) and today had a first reloading session with him. He had previously said he was shooting a .222 and it was a nice surprise to find it was an early Sako L461 with Bofors Steel barrel, 'long' extractor and S-type magazine floorplat...

Re: 20/222
Love the .20-222. Yours should be a cracker Andrew. I also use a Redding bushing die for resizing, but don't use the button or decapping pin. For depriming I use a Super Simplex press and a .17Rem sizing die with the decapping rod wound way down. The same press is used for priming, and for seating ....

No stopping you Ted. Some top work in these latest creations. I really like the one with the stabilised mammoth rib bone.

Re: It’s here! Load development for the 17-222
So the load I have been using for the .17-222 is 21.2gn of BM1 with the 20gn zmax/vmax/Nosler Varmageddon. Accuracy is terrific and velocity is around 4,200 FPS. I picked up a bottle of AR2219 for the .20-222 (I bought some loaded rounds from Missed, with one lot being AR2219 in Sako cases - the sho...

Re: Savage 23D .22 hornet
So while I did some work on the trigger of the young fellas .22 hornet using springs I had on hand I wasn't completely happy with the result, so ordered 2 different springs from eBay - same length and coil diameter as the factory spring but thinner wire diameter. They took a number of weeks to turn ...
