Remington BDL in .17Rem, bedded and floated with a Tasco target 6-24x44, reloads are 22.5grns of AR2206H, CCI small rifle primer and Hornady 25grn hp.

My Ruger 22 mag loves the CCI 40grn HP, at close range on fox's they can leave an exit wound, was never happy with the Winchester ammo as it never grouped well. Must get the 22 mag out havnt shot it for a while.

Im a big fan of Remington but the finish on the sps is very poor I would go for the T3, if your LGS has both in stock put them side by side.

For my .17 REM my fav load is 22.5grns of AR2206H, Hornady 25grn HP, CCI small primer and Remington brass, best group is just over half inch @100.

Have just got a digital caliper vernier off ebay delivered to my door from Hong Kong for $16, bought these for my father who doesn't require absolute accuracy, tested these against my Mitutoyo digital calipers and found the cheepie being close to perfect and are very well made, even came with a spar...

For me its the .17 remington i just cant fault it, shoots flat and hits like lightning, for anything upto feral dog or dingo its my choice, favourite load is 22.5 grns of ar2206h, cci primer and hornady 25grn hp.

Rick1970 is right, 17rem shooters have no choice when it comes to brass, Remington is the one and only.

Hi joelomunro I also thought about buying one of those scopes mainly because of the price but was put off because they didnt say were they were manufactured and there arnt any retail outlets only a web site and ebay sales.

My favourite is the .17 rem for longer range, for short range my .22 mag does the trick.
