Stihl Battery Chainsaw

Will put this review here as it will get used when I go camping and shooting. Bought a new Stihl MSA200 electric saw. Very impressed with first test run. Should be handy when camping and around the home. Planning to recharge it from my 12V to 240v inverter when on the road. https://www.youtube.com/w...

Well it works.
A bit of glue and a rub, it will be better than new.

HW100 + Hares + Baracudas

:hunting: Neighbour asked me to cull a couple of hares that are chewing on his young trees in the garden. He is on a few acres surrounded by a dairy farm. Went up at sunrise this morning with the HW100 .22 and saw one loping around the garden so I snuck through the carport and waited for him to come...

3d Printed 18v battery adaptor

Working on a project this week after seeing some 18v battery adaptors on Ebay. Looked like a good idea so created a design in Fusion 360 and printed out the parts to fit my Dewalt 18v batteries. Mounted a cig socket on one and a 10w led floodlight on another. A lot of led lights are 12-24v so can ha...

Re: Sako 222mag

Tony thanks for some background info. This has the micro groove barrel, unfortunately there is a lot of pitting in a barrel that has not done much work. Shot ok for hunting with ammo it came with. Tried some 53gn vmax I loaded and they went through target sideways, 1:14 not fast enough twist. Loaded...

Sako 222mag

Its taken me over 40 years but I finally bought my first Sako. A Sako Vixen in 222mag. I was supposed to be making a few $ cleaning up the stock but after some purchase mentoring from Barry I ended up paying him.[emoji848][emoji848][emoji23]. Have fitted a Zeiss 4-14 Conquest. It works. Bruce https:...
