Re: Videos of pellets in flight ... first effort.
That's some pretty kool video work. I doubt you would have seen the pellet fly that clearly if the sunlight did not flare out the skirts. I remember taking my Theoben to the 50m small bore range and at the end of the card taking a few shots when the tank was very low and actually seeing the pellet f...

Re: Kind of vintage .20 ammo
They are not what I would call pellets - rather 'Slugs' is more fitting for the old school 'Slug gun'

Re: primer pocket cleaning

Re: primer pocket cleaning
I have never cleaned the primer pockets... I bought myself a primer pocket uniformer. Stick uniformer into an electric drill and just push a case onto the cutter and your done. Initial uniforming took 5-10seconds. It sized the pockets correctly, the initial use did the most cutting of the pocket and...

Re: 2 scopes for $500.....
Why not invest in 2 sets of bases I set of QR rings and 1 good scope For example 6.5-20 x 40 scope 1 x Warne QR rings (I say warne because I know Peter Van Muers uses these on his Bench rest rifles and they hold zeros) 2 x bases that are suitable for Warne QR rings Later on you can add another fixe...

Re: best place to buy reloading kit from USA
the freight will kill you... most places charge 50% value of goods to ship to AUS. ie Cabelas You need to try and find one that will ship surface and not air. I bought my RCBS kit locally for $550 year anf half ago... and that was only $50-75 dearer than landed from the USA. I'd say with better doll...

Re: 204 ruger case trimming
204 Ruger suggeested trim to case length is 1.840" Spec say: Minimum Case length - 1.840" Maximum Case Length - 1.845" So you are fine with 1.843" It will not hurt your brass or you rifle and will have little affect on your accuracy. You will only have to worry about case length ...
