Re: Lil Gun, it's a weird powder
been using 11grs of Lilgun in my martini sportco hornet with 40gr nosler ballistic tips and getting groups of about 3/4 inch at 100m , any higher load makes the cases stick with the martini action. never had an issue with over pressure loads but a mate with a walther 22 hornet has had issues with 12...

Re: I know a bloke that knows a bloke - Nightforce scopes
I am going to list a like new 5.5x22x56 NSX MOARF2 in MOA on used guns and my only reason it's for sale at all is because I upgraded to a March 3x24x42 FFP scope that I am using in PRS matches and needed the Mil FFP options

Re: Precision Engineering
when I did my fitting and turning trade at tafe, I had to hand file and scrape two steel blocks that had to stick together with NO oil coating for a number of seconds, but those fits are amazing !!!! Notice the white dust free gloves. I can imagine a spec of dust causing the parts to jam....

Re: PRS trends have drastically altered.
Hi Tony yes it's the version 3 ultimatum u300 action with the savage barrel threads, not rem 700, it's in 223rem with a old border archer 1-7 barrel, made before they moved and JJJ imports stopped bringing them in because he was not impressed with the current accuracy. if you buy one of those action...

Re: Hornady ELD
I agree most of the time just touching the lands works, and it's the way to go, anyway about 12 months ago I bought some Berger VLD .224 75 grain target projectiles, and was getting great accuracy with them just kissing the lands ,, But needed them to feed into the chamber out of my magazine( the ma...

Re: PRS trends have drastically altered.
Hi Tony , just some information reg PRS matches, here in Sydney the only place you can shoot them as far as I know is at the ssaa silverdale range ,and then only in 22lr and the steel targets must be enclosed in wood boxes. to prevent the projectiles flying off elsewhere. 22 prs is pretty big in SA ...

Re: PRS trends have drastically altered.
yes some are sponsored, what I have noticed is that because of our small market there's not much sponsorship here in Australia. and clubs have troubles finding shops willing to supply prizes ect , but I have seen some good efforts from time to time, and I know it's appreciated. and about the only tw...

Re: PRS trends have drastically altered.
well you have me thinking whats a 6mm bra ??? I looked it up and agree barrel life would be better based on case capacity alone, but look at the sharp shoulder on some of those cases, I have seen special magazine followers and spacer blocks for sale on line ,just to make them feed. what are your tho...

Re: PRS trends have drastically altered.
you make some good points as per caliber and stocks, as to the chassis systems ?, well it's easy to see why, simply add on's , just look at the barricade stops/rests ,hand stops, etc, and the leading chassis, well it's not hard to find the winner( masterpiece arms ) I was thinking about buying one, ...
