Re: Does Taipan still make projectiles
I discovered a box of 500 Taipan projectiles in my collection and am not sure where I got them. I tried to look them up but it appears they ceased trading around 2022. Is that correct? How good are they? They were pretty good at ‘normal’ velocities. Not always as good/consistent at high velocities ...

Air rifles and rabbits are a perfect match. Add a thermal and it’s the icing on the cake. [emoji16] Add headshots to the mix and it’s a perfect storm. Not quite plague proportions but enough to make for a fun and enjoyable evening away from the couch. https://youtu.be/qXencIIMd9M?si=oLrBm9p_6PBOsazS...

Re: PCP refills.
A friend has pointed me in the direction of a dive shop that will fill without a ticket so that should be ok. I'll give them a call to confirm. What size bottle do you have? There's so many options with sizes, what they are made of etc. On a side note, this same friend picked up his brand new FX Im...

Local dive shop for me at $14 a fill gets me about 13 fills on my FX with the current load/tune (36 ish shots per fill). I’d say your local shop has some issues if they won’t fill without a scuba ticket. The in date thing is fair enough to a point noting the cylinder isn’t used for diving. Some shop...

Chasing Yella’s and finding pigs.
Amazing what you see (and how close you can get) when out in a kayak. Was out at Googong the other week. Second trip in the Yak. Chasing anything really but was hopeful of Yella or cod. Covered a fair bit of ground and got snagged heaps (your in the zone if your getting snagged they recon). Came rou...

The Yak Attack journey has commenced.
Good or bad I’ve bought myself a fishing kayak. This is the start of the journey (albeit 2 trips in). Technical issues (poor camera alignment) have rendered the first two trips evidence as not really useful. Great scenery and commentary but not much beyond about 30cms above the line of sight of the ...

Re: Where have all the airgunners gone?
I’m still here. Most of my posts though end up in the hunt report section rather than air rifle specific.
