Raven, is yours 22 or 24 inch barrel? If 22 inch do you find it a drawback or perfectly fine. And can you top load?

I would like to stick with the 270win only because I have a heap of Ammo and reloading gear already for it. Maybe a Browning X-bolt. I have a T-bolt varmint in 17hmr and love the feel on it.

Well I got the chance to take it over to Allan Swann gunsmith this morning. Sure seems cracked, they will do a die check to confirm and do a report up for the importer and also my insurance. Thanks Mark, I was able to finish work at midday and spend the arvo at Brisbane sporting clays. Then home to a pizza dinner with the wife and kids. So it’s been a bloody good day.
