Go Rod's suggestion. Old school cool... .
You won't have time to wear it out like you may have in the past.

Re: 221 fireball custom build
Sounds like a great build and should be a good shooter. 221 has always interested me but went 20VT instead.
Brass - there was some Nosler about , Lapua very rare now their not making it. I cut down 223 brass for my 20vt. Not hard but a few steps in the process.
Pics when it is done please.

Re: Someone sent me some pics
Sunday night.
Been saving this rabbit who lives in the garden.
25m
H&N Barracuda Match 21gn
940fps
Definitely enough power. Head shot, then hit the shed 20m behind. Woops
Ther is two more around the garden.

New Gun Day
Well it was New Gun Day and grinning from ear to ear. Ordered this FX Maverick VP 22 back in January and delivery was to be in June. So a bit of a shock to get a call in late April that it was at the gun shop. Fitted a bipod and my old Nikon EFR 3-9x40. Grabbed all the odd tins of pellets I have in ...

Not yet Barry. Had a call from gunshop saying my new air rifle was in, two months early. Good news but there goes the spare $ for a while.

Re: Sako L461 varmint stock - Now 20/222
The big day came last Friday. Was handed a barrelled action before lunch then headed out to the campsite. Setup camp and sorted my gear into a makeshift workbench so I could finish fitting the barreled action to the stock. The barrel channel need widening about .5mm each side, not to bad as I left i...

Indian minors and rabbits in the rose garden
Shot a couple of indian minors a few weeks ago, so thought I would make a few metal targets for plinking with the air rifle. Searched online for some animal shapes, enlarged them with a photo copier and then cut them out of some scrap 3mm checker plate. Just used a jigsaw and angle grinder. To give ...
