Mossberg 46B 22lr

A good mate of mine recently brought home his dad’s old Mossberg 46B 22lr. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240107/e52229a83fbfff35d204c46de903aad3.jpg Interesting design with a 15 round tube mag and a kicker that flicks the rounds up to align with the chamber: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...

Sounds like that old Mod70 had some stories to tell.

Re: Lothar Walther Centerfire Barrels?

I think I read somewhere that they can be quite hard, so good for the shooter, not so good for the gunsmith (specifically the reamer).

Re: A couple of unique Brnos - .250 Myra and .20 Extruder

So in a box of goodies that came with the rifles there was mix of stuff Mark gifted with the Myra - loaded rounds, primed cases, projectiles, dies. Myra head-stamped cases: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230717/3fa0428077ddf789eae5801a4353623e.jpg Some terrific looking dies: https://uploads.tapa...

A couple of unique Brnos - .250 Myra and .20 Extruder

Over the last few months of his life Camel gave away some of his favourite rifles. He messaged me in February to say he wanted me to have his Brno 601 .250 Myra. I was flabbergasted and honoured, and ring him to tell him so. I said I was happy to pay for it. “NO!” (Many of us would know exactly his ...

Re: Introducing another young fella to reloading

So yesterday the young bile came over with a a good mate and his son to do some general gun tinkering. He was keen to develop some loads for an old Parker Hale 243. Since recently receiving it from his dads side of the family he had only shot a few factory Win 80gn loads through it. It came with a b...

I took the proud owner and his dad out for a look with the spotlight one night last week and he blooded the Krico including a nice headshot. Ammo was the CCI 30gn HP.

Re: Krico 22wmr

Yep two stage. The local gunsmith worked on it and the pull is lighter but still has a bit of mushy creep at the start of the second stage. My mate sourced some Lynx bases and 26mm rings to Mount the Pecar. It's an old reticle moving job so the Lynx bases with the adjustment were preferred to avoid ...
