Going to start shooting benchrest with my Brno (has synthetic Piers stock on it)

Been looking at Protektor rear bags but have no idea what height or type is best for benchrest (the rice bags are no longer cutting it for me)

Any help appreciated

group was reasonable

POI was about 4-5cm high

Using Caldwell Rock BR rest and rear bag was just a sandbag

Rifle (.22) was grouping reasonably well (was testing different ammo out) but was justshooting higher than expected.

Took my new benchrest to the range today and for whatever reason (i am a benchrest rookie), shots all seemed to be going lot higher on the target than normal. Went on and shot Field Rifle and bullets were landing where that were expected to Can anyone shed some light on this? Suspect it is my techni...

I will mainly be using one for sighting in and the odd crack at rimfire BR

trying to decide between the Caldwell Rock Deluxe and Caldwell Rock BR

yeah field rifle is indeed addictive

got my bronze medal in the mail today for shooting 340+ now i just need to aim for the next level

no issues with it in my brno md2

use it for field rifle and the odd rabbit
